This series focuses on tintypes of found objects collected during my many walks around Fair Park in Dallas, Texas and dumpster diving at my father’s shop, Lopez Auto Service. Discarded detritus found in the streets, along with fallen plant artifacts provided design elements to explore with the Wetplate Process. This series also includes a continued study of antiquated tools and objects as they relate to changing technologies and design. All images are produced as final archival pigment prints in three sizes: small edition approximately 11x14 inches, medium edition approximately 20x26 inches, and large edition approximately 32x45 inches.
